World Oceans Day with Ocean Life Education at Osprey House

Curious about what a baby bamboo shark looks like up close? Or how a sea star feels? Now's your chance to find out!

Join Ocean Life Education for a free, hands-on aquatic life experience at Osprey House. Get up close with touch tanks, shark jaws, shells, and other fascinating displays that help you learn about Australian marine life.

Check out the interactive Ocean Life display or do one of our many crafts or activities available throughout the day. These activities are all designed to highlight the meaning behind World Ocean Day. It promotes action to protect our oceans and climate.

Come on down for a visit, sit and meditate on our amphitheatre or just wander around our boardwalk. Perhaps you would like to have a BBQ in our picnic area. It is all free to use. We just ask you put the rubbish in the bins provided.

Osprey House is open 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday. Opening hours are from 9am to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm, except Public Holidays when the House will be closed but the boardwalks remain open. Our gates are closed at 6pm each night. However the boardwalks remain open. Come along and bring the kids for some fun!
