Osprey House is open 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday. Opening hours are from 9am to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm, except Public Holidays when the House will be closed but the boardwalks remain open. Our gates are closed at 6pm each night. However the boardwalks remain open. Come along and bring the kids for some fun!

Come on down for a visit, sit and meditate on our amphitheatre or just wander around our boardwalk. Perhaps you would like to have a BBQ in our picnic area. It is all free to use. We just ask you put the rubbish in the bins provided.

Free World Bee Day workshop at Osprey House

Did you know that Australia has over 1600 native bee species? Learn more at Osprey House, where Ian from A Green Soul Native Bees will deliver an informative and buzzing workshop for World Bee Day! You'll learn about the role native bees play as crucial pollinators, and what stingless and solitary bees are.
Ian will have a few displays, including an observation hive where you can see the inner workings of stingless bees. You might even be lucky enough to taste some native honey!
This is an exciting opportunity to learn about these busy workers and how they benefit the Moreton Bay ecosystem.
